This recipe started as my attempt to health-ify my Buckeye Balls recipe . For those of you not from Ohio or surrounding states, Buckeye Balls are peanut butter mixed withban inner amount of p0wder sugar , and butter , then part dipped in chocolate ganache . With a little imagineation and a lot of elevation, these treats do somewgat resembles an an actual Buckeye  nut. I’ll share a bar(raterthan ball) version of Buckeye in another post

The healthiness (yes I understand this might be an oxymoron when talking about a recipe that still contains a stick of butter, then over a cup of sugar) is better for you- fat of amondsand almondbutter compared  to peanut butter, the additional of some fiber withheld rolled oats and less chocolate.

Thesecare still very indulgent treats, and you will not miss the butter and sugar I removed from the original recipe.

As always with cannabis and infused foodstart low go slow. To many ABC treats and you’ll be hanging in the trees with the squirrels

10 Oz jaralmond butter

6 ozinfused (Cana) butter

1 1/2 confectioners sugar

2c rolled oats

3/4 c chopped almond2 t vanilla extract

1/2 c driedtart cherries

1/2c mini chocolate morsel

In large bowl ,cream together the almond butter , and infused cannabis butter with electric mixer. Add the vanilla

Add in confectioners sugar. Continue mixing until you have a smooth batter. Shifting or sieving the sugar over the topofvthe creamed mixture will lessen the amount of mixing you need to do to create smooth batter

Add the rolled oatsand and beat with a electric beater. After the oats have been incorperated,mix in the remaining ingredients by hand.

Shape into 1 inch balls.can be rolled in in sprinkles or nuts for a prettier presentation.Store in a air tight  container in the refrigerator  for up to two weeks. For longer storage,  freeze for up to six months.
