Hello Every One!
Thanks for stopping by today to talk about homemade peanut butter. Not just peanut
butter, but honey roasted infused peanut butter.
I have a special place in my heart for peanut butter. My first (successful) infused edible
was a peanut butter cookie. I say successful since my first try at edibles in my teens didn’t
really go well. I just dumped un-decarbed cannabis into my brownie batter. Needless to
say, these brownies didn’t have any elevating properties and tasted like lawn clippings. So,
you could say, I owe my culinary cannabis journey to peanut butter. BTW, peanut butter is
really, really good at masking some of the undesirable taste components of cannabis.
Now, to be completely transparent, to get a totally smooth peanut butter, you need a high-
speed blender like a Vitamix. If a $500.00 blender isn’t in your budget right now (or you
don’t already own one), you can get close to smooth with your average chain store blender.
Just tell people its rustic. I was less successful in getting a smooth consistency in the
peanut butter with a food

processor, but it is an option. Maybe my food processor just
wasn’t up to the job.

Honey Roasted Infused Peanut BuƩer
Peanut BuƩer
1 c dry roasted peanuts (if possible, buy raw in the shell peanuts and roast yourself – about 30 minutes
at 350F in your oven)
½ t kosher salt
2 ½ T infused peanut oil
3 T infused whipped honey
Infused Whipped Honey
¾ c honey
3 T infused MCT oil
¼ t powdered sunflower lecithin (optional)
For the Peanut butter, add roasted peanuts and salt to blender pitcher. Blend for 1 minute. Stop and
scrape down the sides and boƩom of the pitcher. Repeat the blending and scraping 4 or 5 Ɵmes, or until
desired level of smoothness is achieved.
Add peanut oil and whipped honey and blend again.
For the Honey
Add the ingredients to blender pitcher and process unƟl the oil and honey are emulsified. The optional
lecithin will stabilize the emulsified.

As always with Cannabis infused food start with a small serving till you learn your tolerance. Cannabis infused peanut butter offers many serving options for this purpose such a celery sticks, carrots sticks , your favorite cracker. Because of dogs love of peanut butter, be extra diligent to keep out of reach if pets and children
