How do you manage screen time for yourself?

Screen time is not a big deal, we never do it. How ever our food pictures well they are a big deal. We strive to make each picture as tasty as possible. The food has to look home made as much as possible ,so look good but not so good, to this end some are made by Patrick, because when done by Mary Ann they look too professional, we want it to look like you can make it.

We have special boom lighting and flash lighting . We use special led cool lights so food doesn’t melt or cook because of heat from the light remember your easy bake oven? And that was low watt light bulb .we shoot about twenty pictures to get the right shot

Some times back ground items are added as a after thought and some of them are not real Patrick drew them and added as a after thought. Mary Ann who’s hobby is to read cookbooks and rework recipes and make them her own no longer likes cookbooks that don’t have pictures. We have a huge library of them collecting them was her hobby .

Every thing is really made every thing is tasted if is doesn’t taste good it is reworked and reshot till it does some times the less tasty are the more pretty those pictures are never used.We have to keep it real.

Patrick did stage lighting for years for theatre and bands so it is a big help. Food is harder to shoot then people food can’t hit their marks or tell you their good side. So if you find out pictures good enough to eat it’s because it is.
