Banana nut bread

For some reason we can never eat a standard bunch of bananas before one or two go bad so here is a recipe that fixes that problem.

To make cannabis-infused banana nut bread, you will need:

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup ripe mashed bananas (about 2 to 3 bananas)
  • 1/4 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch loaf pan.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time.
  5. Mix in the mashed bananas and cannabis-infused coconut oil until well blended.
  6. Stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
  7. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
  8. Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
  9. Bake for 70 to 80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
  10. Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  11. Remove it from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.

Note: The potency of the cannabis infusion will depend on the strength of the cannabis and the amount used. It’s important to start with a low dosage and wait at least 1 hour before consuming more. Keep cannabis-infused foods out of reach of children and pets.
