
For some reason we can never eat a standard bunch of bananas before one or two go bad so here is a recipe that fixes that problem.
To make cannabis-infused banana nut bread, you will need:
Ingredients:
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup ripe mashed bananas (about 2 to 3 bananas)
- 1/4 cup cannabis-infused coconut oil
- 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (162°C). Grease and flour a 9-inch loaf pan.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Mix in the mashed bananas and cannabis-infused coconut oil until well blended.
- Stir in the flour mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 70 to 80 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the bread comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
- Remove it from the pan and let it cool on a wire rack before slicing and serving.
Note: The potency of the cannabis infusion will depend on the strength of the cannabis and the amount used. It’s important to start with a low dosage and wait at least 1 hour before consuming more. Keep cannabis-infused foods out of reach of children and pets.
