On every cruise I have ever been on the dinning highlight has always been this dessert created tableside by the matrade I always looked forward to it

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
  • 1/4 cup infused sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions:

  1. In a sauté pan, combine the cherries, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
  2. Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the cherries have released their juices.
  3. Add the brandy and continue to cook for another minute or two, until the alcohol has burned off.
  4. Serve the cherries and sauce over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
  5. Enjoy!
