
On every cruise I have ever been on the dinning highlight has always been this dessert created tableside by the matrade I always looked forward to it
Ingredients:
- 1 cup cherries, pitted and halved
- 1/4 cup infused sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brandy
- vanilla ice cream
Instructions:
- In a sauté pan, combine the cherries, sugar, water, and lemon juice.
- Cook over medium heat until the sugar has dissolved and the cherries have released their juices.
- Add the brandy and continue to cook for another minute or two, until the alcohol has burned off.
- Serve the cherries and sauce over a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
- Enjoy!
