Vinaigrette Story
Hello Again Everyone!
So glad you stopped by my blog to find out what’s going on in the Culinary Cannabis kitchen today.
Today is a simple vinaigrette recipe that is adaptable in so many ways…make it with different oils (olive,
canola or vegetable), vinegars (apple cider, rice wine or sherry are my favorites) and herbs. You just can’t beat a freshly made vinaigrette. That being said, this vinaigrette will keep for a week or more in your refrigerator for your salad needs.I spent several years of my life eating a salad for lunch each day. While I varied the kind of lettuce and
other vegetables for the salad, I used the same vinaigrette day in and day out. I wish I had been making my own vinaigrette during this time, so I could have switched up the ingredients to make my salads more enticing. added bonus, if you know how what variations you come up with!
Vinaigrette Recipe
¼ cup infused olive oil
3 T apple cider vinegar
2 t Dijon mustard
1 t honey
1 shallot, finely diced
2 T minced fresh herbs (I like parsley, basil, cilantro)
Place all ingredients in Ɵghtly covered jar and shake until blended.
Culinarily Yours in Cannabis,
Mary Ann
